Shawlands
Shawlands is a busy shopping and residential area in the South of Glasgow. Known for many years as the social heartland of Glasgow's Southside, Shawlands features a large number of shops, restaurants, pubs and clubs.

Like many Community Councils we are part of more than one of the new Multi-Member Wards. Shawlands and part of Strathbungo fall within the new Pollokshields Ward (Ward 6) and part of Strathbungo is within the new Southside Central Ward (Ward 8).
